Permanent Medical Care
The Roche Health Center opened in 2011 — the first-ever access to permanent care for a region with one doctor per 30,000 people.
Clean Water Access
Water distribution systems reducing waterborne disease and catalyzing local economic growth across rural Tanzania.
Mothers Served Annually
The M. Anne Haire Reproductive and Child Health Center delivers specialized maternal care, increasing safe births and infant outcomes.
Students in workforce development
Since 2004, 10,000 students have participated in workforce development programing.
Bringing fresh water to Tanzania: Engineering grad students designed locally sustainable water filtration systems, earning award-winning recognition from Penetron International. In collaboration with University of Cincinnati Chapter of Engineers Without Borders (EWB).
Access to care: Before Roche Health Center, there was 1 doctor for every 30,000 people. Now, 20,000+ community members have access to care.
